The Famous Playground that Gary built

The playground has a cool tire swing, major heavy duty it will make you sick as a dog if you spin too long on it.
this is the completed deal, we used rubber tire chips to put underneath, since Gary built it so huge and we needed something soft to pad a big fall. The base alone is over 6 feet. There is a Jacobs ladder, disk swing, tire swing, two saddle swings,monkey bars, rock climbing, ladder, trapeze bar with a buoy ball that we can switch out for the swings.
We had Mason's birthday party so that is why there is streamers hanging from the monkey bars. There were about 15 kids romping on this thing. It held up nicely.

Well this is the truck that delivered the slide.


The slide that was too small so it is extra steep not to mention that Gary greased it with Armor All so it would really be slippery.
This is some of the first part of the assembly. My husband is so talented, he didn't have plans or anything, he built this dog from scratch. He just looked at a picture and was able to put it together in his mind and save us a ton of money.
After we removed the cactus from our backyard we begin mapping out how big the set would be and how we would lay it out.

More stuff about adoption


Well I just saw the latest release of The Chronicles Of Narnia. I thought it was good, a ton of sword fights a lot of death but no blood, in fact I don't think small kids would grasp the fact that people were dieing. The scariest part was about 30 seconds when the evil witch was trying to tempt the kids into letting her free. That part made me uncomfortable because of the witch craft, but other than that good prevailed and the hidden symbols of God and faith are beautiful as in the first movie. There was however a lot of destruction and war and I wandered if that was a good idea for Mason who seems to be prone to that kind of thing. I still think it was better than most Disney movies where rude humor and adult content have to be added. We saw the previews to Kung Fo Panda and of course there was the flatulence scene. Really? do we need it?

Well if I can get my big butt of this computer there is a million things to do. I have to get the bedrooms done before my darling Nettie comes. The floor needs to be mopped. The bathrooms need to be cleaned. Life is busy to say the least.

Getting Ready

I really hope to hear something soon. I got an email from Ethiopia today concerning my guest house arrangements so the internet has to be working.

If my court would have gone through today Grace would have told me so I am just getting ready. Instead of saying "I am waiting" I will switch my verbage to something new.

Just 2 days

I am looking forward to being done. I am at the end with this whole thing. I want to think about other things other than my adoption. You have to be careful not to let it swallow you whole. I am trying not to think to far ahead. In part because I can't imagine her here. It is like she is a ghost or a mirage and to actually have her in my arms, at my table, in my lap seems like a dream. Well who knows what will happen, I certainly don't. Is she going to like us? Will it be hard or easy? It just depends.

Mason's prayer

Dear God,
Thank you for Judah, thank you for his beautiful eyes to see with so he doesn't walk into walls. Thank you for his cute tummy to tickle and thank you for his cute head so he can make good decisions. Amen. Smell my stinky feet.

This cute little prayer was said all while torturing his brother with tickles and rough housing. Boys. Abby just looked at me and said with a smile, "I need a sissy uh?"

We are waiting just 3 days until court, tomorrow will make a mere two. yikes.

Decided I will leave if I pass court on the 21 of June arriving in Ethiopia on the 23rd and leaving to come home the 30th. This is all God willing of course. Come to find out June-September is their peek travel season. Nice. It is supposed to be rainy!!!! Who wants to travel in the rain, must be family stuff. I don't know.
